Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot had a good start at the ATP tournament of Montpellier, France, IPN reports.
The 29-year-old player beat Germany’s Philipp Kohlschreiber, world No. 5, 6-4, 6-3. Albot, who is now the 90th best tennis player in the world, in the second round plays Latvia’s Ernests Gulbis, who takes the 83rd spot in the ATP rankings.
In the doubles, Albot stopped in the second round. He played together with Spain’s Marcel Granollers-Pujol.
