After scoring a clear 6-2, 6-4, 6-1 victory against Australia’s Jordan Thompson, world No. 53, Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot, who occupies the 79th spot in the ATP rankings, was beaten by the United States’ Taylor Fritz, 29th in the ATP rankings, IPN reports.

Fritz won by 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. He defeated Albot the second time, after winning against him 6-3, 6-2 in the semifinals of the Los Cabos ATP tournament of 2019.

Today, Radu Albot will compete in the doubles of Roland Garros, together with Nikoloz Basilashvili of Georgia. They will meet the Mayer-Pella pair.
