More than 4.1 million passengers chose to travel from Chisinau International Airport in 2024. The figure is double that of 2022. According to the airport, the growth is supported by the expansion of the route network and the number of airlines, IPN reports.

If in 2022 there were 20 route networks and airlines, in 2024 the number increased to 33. In 2022, the Airport recorded traffic of 2.2 million passengers, and in 2023 - 2.8 million.

According to AIC, January 2025 started with 330 thousand passengers - an increase of 62% compared to the first month of last year. This year, the airport plans to serve 5 million passengers.
