A plane of Air Moldova airline was grounded in Frankfurt for maintenance works. A part of the over 30 passengers who were to fly to Chisinau by that plane in the afternoon of May 24 were redirected to other flights. The other part remained in Germany and will take the plane to Chisinau on Saturday morning, at 9.50, the airline’s spokesman for Victor Chironda has told IPN.

On May 22, an Air Moldova plane flying on the Chisinau – Verona route made an emergency landing at the Chisinau International Airport 30 minutes after taking off. The plane returned to Chisinau after experiencing technical glitches in the radio communication system.
