A 72-year-old woman who died in Soroca is likely to be the 11th victim of the AH1N1 flu virus. Valeriu Petrovici, medical director of the Soroca district hospital, has told IPN that the woman suffered from a number of diseases, including an acute respiratory infection. But it is presumed that she died after developing complications caused by flu. She was hospitalized on March 9 and died on March 14.
Specialists recommend taking prophylaxis measures, including eating products that contain vitamin C such as lemon, blackcurrant and gooseberry as well as garlic and onion, which are antimicrobial, and leading a healthy lifestyle, without alcohol and cigarettes.
