Agricultural producers registered as legal entities and private individuals registered as entrepreneurs will be able to pay the land tax by November 25. The Commission for Exceptional Situations decided to extend the time limit for a period of two months, IPN reports.

It goes to the land/property taxes on existing and/or acquired lots/real estate that need to be paid into local budgets by September 25 according to the location of the objects of taxation.

The authorities noted the changes were made in connection with the multiple crises experienced by agricultural producers due to this year’s severe drought, the war in Ukraine, the rise in input prices and the ban on the export of vegetal products to the Russian Federation.

“The measures are taken in a bid to support agricultural producers. This way they are enabled to perform the autumn agricultural works, to gather this year’s harvest and to pay the land tax from the earned revenues,” runs the decision.
