Agricultural producers at “Farmer” exhibition will not pay participation fees
The agricultural producers that will take part in “Farmer” exhibition between October 24 and 28 will not pay participation fees. The Government decided that the fees should be paid from the Government’s reserve fund and allocated 230,000 lei for this purpose.
The Government made such a decision in a move to support the farmers affected by this year’s severe drought. Producers of agricultural machinery, equipment, seeds, and mineral fertilizers from Ukraine, Romania, Poland, and Russia have announced their intention to take part in the exhibit. Therefore, the Government decided that the exhibition will not be so successful if the Moldovan producers do not participate in it.
The exhibition “Farmer” will take place simultaneously with another two exhibits, “Moldagrotech” and “Moldeco”. During 15 years, “Moldoagrotech” has brought together the largest producers of machines and equipment, tractors and combine harvesters, water supply and irrigation systems for agriculture, equipment for the food industry, technological equipment, spare parts, plant protection methods and fertilizers etc.
