Saying one thing, doing another   

Although the other day Veaceslav Eni has announced that Termoelectrica „does not use such expressions as the beginning and end of the heating season”, and does not wait for a decision on the part of local authorities, yesterday the acting mayor of the capital, Adrian Talmaci has directed that JSC „Termoelectrica” and JSC „Apă-Canal Chișinău” ensure the connection of the municipal housing fund units to the centralized heating system, according to the concluded contracts.

Stepping into the Same River Twice?
In Chisinau, Ion Ceban has accumulated 40.30% of the votes, while candidate of ACUM bloc Andrei Năstase - 31.01%. The Socialist Party and ACUM Bloc  have the greatest number of mandates in the Chisinau Municipal Council. According to preliminary results, PSRM will have 22 councillor mandates, whereas ACUM – 19. Former mayor Dorin Chirtoaca urged the capital's inhabitants to vote against the PSRM candidate, Ion Ceban, and as regards the candidacy of ACUM bloc, Andrei Năstase, to realize that the two are in an alliance.

Blessed are those who believe...

Candidates won the election race in the first round in seven municipalities, namely in Bălți, Comrat, Cahul, Ungheni, Orhei, Ceadâr-Lunga and Strășeni. In other four municipalities, the second round of elections will be organized in two weeks.

Here we go one more time!

On November 3, the second round of general local elections will be held in 380 settlements of the country. The PSRM will have 175 candidates, ACUM DA PAS Electoral Bloc–167, the Liberal Party -44, while Şor Political Party – 38. 20 candidates represent Our Party, 16 - the Communist Party, and 86 people are independent candidates.

No change of standpoint

After MPs Andrei Năstase, Maia Sandu, Viorel Melnic și Vladimir Plahotniuc gave up on their mandates, snap parliamentary elections took place, the four MP mandates being distributed as follows– one to the Democratic Party (Ghenadie Verdeș in Nisporeni), one to the Socialist Party (Vitalii Evtodiev in Slobozia-Tiraspol-Bender), and two to ACUM electoral Bloc (Vasile Năstase in Chișinău and Galina Sajin west of the Republic of Moldova).

So many and all for (the sake of) justice

The Ministry of Justice has received 20 files for the competition for Prosecutor General position: Anatolie Istrate, Ilie Rotaru, Alexandr Stoianoglo, Maxim Gropa, Veaceslav Soltan, Eduard Bulat, Ruslan Cașu, Ruslan Popov, Alexandru Rața, Vsevolod Ivanov, Serghei Perju, Tudor Andronic, Ion Vicol, Artur Lupașco, Vladimir Adam, Gheorghe Malic, Vladislav Gribincea, Ștefan Gligor, Oleg Crîșmaru and Octavian Bodareu.
