State Secretary Constantin Borosan has been appointed to coordinate all administrative-organizational processes at the Energy Ministry during the period when Premier Dorin Recean will hold the portfolio of minister in this field, IPN reports.

The chief executive announced that he held a first working meeting at the Energy Ministry this morning and that the main directions of activity for the immediately coming period, as well as for the preparation of the establishment of the state of emergency in the energy sector, were outlined.

"Next week we will come up with all the necessary steps to the Commission for Exceptional Situations, the Government and the Parliament in order to institute it from December 16", Recean said.

At a press conference on Thursday, the Prime Minister announced the dismissal of Energy Minister Victor Parlicov, Energocom director Victor Bînzari and Sergiu Tofilat from the position of member of the Moldovagaz Board of Observers. Dorin Recean explained that these persons either blocked or did not act at the right time in order to purchase natural gas at favorable prices for Moldova.
