The administration of Sângerei district risks being removed, said district councilor Oleg Cernei, who published a notification of the Bălți local office of the State Chancellery. This says that the legislation was violated when the district head and deputy heads were chosen, IPN reports.
“The State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova identified violations in the election of Grigore Corcodel as head of Sângerei district and of Ion Bîrsanu, Tudor Tutunaru and Iulian Erimei as deputy heads and requested to abrogate the decisions adopted on November 27, 2019. On January 31, 2020, the district council will examine the State Chancellery’s notification concerning the resumption of the procedure for electing the administration of Sângerei district,” Oleg Cernei, who is a councilor of the ACUM Bloc, posted on Facebook.
The Bălți local office of the State Chancellery discovered deviations from the legal provisions defining the method of convening the Council and those stipulating that the draft regulations of the local public authorities are made public for consultation at least 15 workdays before the adoption day.
