The commission for education, social protection and population’s protection (CEPSOS) intends to propose to municipal council additional approval of about 100 million lei for repairing pre-university institutions of the capital. The chairman of the commission, Vasile Parasca said that CEPSOS a required to education, youth and sport department (DGÎETS) to evaluate the real financing needs of repairing and to set which are the schools needing repairing as priority. He also noted that 100 million lei is only a figure estimated by DGÎETS. Parasca mentioned that this money is necessary, as allotted amounts of municipal budget last years are not sufficient for liquidating all problems. Thus, last year for repairing pre-university institutions there were allotted of the local budget 19 million lei, and for this year- 24 million lei. Parasca hopes that DGIETS will estimate shortly the real financing needs as this costs report to be submitted to municipal council to be approved. Therefore, it will be possible very soon organise an auction for choosing the businessmen who shall be involved in repairing of education institutions after the school year ends. There are working about 140 pre-university institutions in the capital.
