ACUM invites PSRM to discussions

The Political Bloc ACUM DA PAS invited the parliamentary group of the Party of Socialists to public discussions to consider the delay in the process of constituting the Parliament’s working bodies as the process blocks the discussion and adoption of the laws needed to free the state from the captivity of the oligarchic system. The invitation to discussions in the Parliament’s conference hall is for April 9, 11am, or for any other jointly agreed day and hour, IPN reports.

In a press release, the Political Bloc ACUM DA PAS said the invitation was issued because they realize the socioeconomic risks that derive from the political uncertainty caused by the lack of a functional Parliament. It reiterated that the de-oligarchization of the state institutions is the key condition for bringing the Republic of Moldova back to the path of normality and for restoring the people’s confidence in a democratic and prosperous future of the country.

According to ACUM DA PAS, the invitation was also made in order to discuss in public the package of anti-oligarchic laws that was introduced into Parliament so as to improve it and to consider other possible initiatives aimed at de-oligarchizing the country.

The Political Bloc ACUM DA PAS has 26 seats of MP, while the PSRM – 35 seats.
