The access road to the Leușeni-Albița customs post was unblocked, the Customs Service has announced. Vehicle traffic was restored in a normal regime after the farmers who took to the streets withdrew their tractors, IPN reports.

The institution noted that vehicle traffic at the Costești-Stânca, Sculeni-Sculeni and Leova-Bumbăta customs posts is not heavy and crossing is easy. “We recommend that you opt for crossing the border also through these customs posts,” the Customs Service said.

On Tuesday morning, famers blocked the access road to the Leușeni border crossing point after one day earlier they also barred access to this frontier post and unblocked it close to midnight only after being urged by the police.
