PDM is embarrassed of its partner, while PPDA is sorry to have missed out

The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Democrat MP Monica Babuc, argues that the Democratic Party, even if it voted for the Chicu Government's investiture after voting for the Sandu Government's dismissal, remains in opposition.

While Alexandru Slusari reveals that the PPDA was not supported by its partner when they proposed to make a Declaration on the captured state, through special laws.

Turning up your nose at gas?

Energy expert Sergiu Tofilat believes that the decrease in the import prices of natural gas, announced by the authorities upon the return from the Russian Federation, is natural in the current market environment. In his opinion, all that the Moldovan authorities have done is that they discussed the extension of the contract with "Gazprom" to ensure the reliable supply of natural gas.

Perhaps Bulgarians mistook the Moldovans for Turks

Moldovan citizens arrested at the border with Bulgaria, in May 2019, due to being suspected of committing crimes in Turkey were detained in inhuman conditions. For five days, the eight Moldovans, both women and men, were held in the same space and slept on the concrete floor of the cell. According to the Bulgarian authorities, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova did not wish to provide support to these persons, who are currently in Moldova, benefiting from psychological assistance. By the way, torture and cruel treatment are still used in the Republic of Moldova, show the data of the Institute for Democracy. Victims of torture may receive assistance at three centers in Chișinău, Comrat and Tiraspol.

Enough about „badante” (caregivers)

How many Moldovan investors are in Italy and how many mixed marriages between Moldovans and Italians are there? What links the Moldovan military and carabineers to the Italian ones? By what criteria does Italy select aid projects for Moldova? Why are the relations of Moldova and Italy, of Moldovans and Italians more special compared to other countries? About these and other thingsin Valeriu Vasilică’s recent video interview with the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Republic of Moldova, Valeria Biagiotti.

A mansion by the lake is not a needle in a haystack

The former head of the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases, Nicolae Chitoroagă, was detained for 72 hours in a criminal case initiated on allegations of illicit enrichment. Prosecutors highlighted that the value of the goods purchased by the prosecutor and his family, since 2014 and until now, substantially exceeds the family's declared income.
