Standard bearers think “people are waiting”, for them
The National Council of the Liberal Party in its December 15 meeting unanimously decided in favor of the formation of the Unionist Movement of the Republic of Moldova. The Liberal leader Dorin Chirtoacă, former mayor of Chisinau noted the people expect the unionist and pro-European forces to unite and not just to assert themselves, but to take common decisions in particular moments, which would help achieve a majority in all the entities.

Singing or not, but time is ticking away
More than 450 Moldovan artists, authors and singers call on President Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Ion Chicu to name a professional with experience as AGEPI director. Writer Traian Vasilcău said the legislation on copyright and related rights hasn’t been reviewed for many years and needs to be improved. The “Copyright” National Association comes up with a number of relevant proposals. These are to be discussed with the Premier so that a legislative proposal is ultimately submitted to Parliament.

A National Platform of Senior Volunteers and a Volunteer Club 60 Plus based in Chisinau were launched to implement the Principle of Active Aging in the social sphere. A program of measures and actions for 2018-2021 is being implemented to improve the situation of the elderly so that these are not discriminated and marginalized.
