Judgment of skeletons from closets, drawers and own head

Cristina Țărnă, vice director of the National Anticorruption Center in 2013 – 2017, considers the arresting of the former chief of the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office Viorel Morari and what is happening to him represent revenge taken by the skeletons from the APO’s closet. All those involved in the examination of the criminal case started against him, beginning with those who carried out inspections at the APO, are investigated in different cases. Therefore, the whole process was discredited.

Chicu-fall expected in spring?

President Igor Dodon went to Moscow on January 17 “together with a number of colleagues”. The visit was made on the invitation of the Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank Herman Gref, who arranged a number of meetings with personalities from different fields who intend to provide assistance to the Republic of Moldova.

A group of PPPDA MPs request Minister of the Interior Pavel Voicu to present a detailed report on the crime situation in the country. According to the MPs, a ‘red code for crime situation’ has been witnessed in Moldova since the start of the year. In reply, Pavel Voicu said the crime situation is the  product of society, not of the police separately.

The Ministry of the Interior is among the top institutions where the largest number of acts of corruption were discovered in 2019.
