Approximately 100 persons submitted applications to take part in the state program “First House” that became operational on March 26. “The program is new and, as at any start, many questions appear,” Prime Minister Pavel Filip stated in the March 28 meeting of the Cabinet.
According to the Premier, many persons asked why the individual entrepreneurs and patent holders are not among those who can take part in the program. Others asked why the incomes earned abroad are not taken into account. The regulations on the participation in the program will be detailed so as to avoid interpretations.
To avoid eventual problems related to the commission charged for the exchange of currency, the Premier asked that the regulations of the program should specify that the prices, including the loans, within the program “First House” are in national currency, not in euros or dollars.
