A policeman of Sangerei risks to 10 years life imprisonment for torture, with suspension of the right to occupy positions or work for 5 years.
According to general prosecution, a policeman-driver of the Logistic Office of the Police Commissariat of Sangerei, in the office of the head of the police of the village Radoaia, hit many times a minor and a man with the bit, causing them body injures. Sangerei regional prosecution started an investigation on the policeman according to the art.309 of the Penal Code of Moldova - torture.
From 20 to 25 years life imprisonment, or life imprisonment an inhabitant of the village Cetireni, Ungheni, risks, if he is found guilty, because he killed his wife at the beginning of this month. Four children remained without parent supervision because of father’s jalousie.
The same sentence risks a young man aged 26, of the village Bulaiesti, Orhei, who on the evening of 20 February 2006, being drunk, killed his father with knife hit in the heart. The prosecution of Orhei investigated the case.
