A photo exhibition presents 4 significant revolutions of XX-th century
French Alliance of Moldova and Cooperation and Cultural Action Service of French Embassy in Moldova host in the exhibition gallery in the headquarters of these institutions a photo exhibition of the Agency France-Press with the title "4 revolutions".
According to organisers, the exhibition presents photos from Budapest of 1956, Prague 1968, Timisoara 1989 and Belgrad 2000. The exhibition is a reflection occasion over the fact how images can contribute to perception of history and give a symbolic dimension to events. The photo exhibition represents the most representative ones, published during the revolutions on the front pages, but as well photos that were not published because of their quality.
This exhibition allows to visitors to compare the regime of Nicolae Ceausescu and power leaving of Slobodan Milosevic, the organisers explained.
The exhibition "4 revolutions" was open on 20 March and is open until 28 April in the headquarters of French Alliance and Cooperation and Cultural action Service of French Embassy in Moldova, situated on the street Sfatul Tarii 18 of Chisinau.
