A new entrance for the public to Dendrarium Park from Buiucani sector will be fitted out. The access gate to the recreation space will be built by the end of this year, at the intersection of Vasile Lupu and Constantin Stere streets, Chisinau City Hall announced in a press release.

The project cost is of 1.2 million lei, the financial sources being provided in the municipal budget.

The access gate and the auxiliary constructions will be built by a real estate developer, based on a public-private partnership.

According to Ion Uzun, director of "Dendrological Garden" Municipal Enterprise, the arrangement of the new entrance to the park will facilitate the access of citizens to the recreation area, and with the increase in the number of visitors, the enterprise will be able to maintain the current tariff for the entrance tickets and extend its working hours until 24.00.

During 2019, on the territory of the recreation area, there was arranged the "Rosary 2" composition (consisting of 3000 roses). In the same year there have been completed the construction works of "Eternity Garden" (1.6 ha) – a space designed and arranged in classical style, with three artesian wells.

Dendrarium Park has an area of 78 ha.
