A man from Chisinau died this morning hit by a train. The doctor-coordinator of the Medical Emergency Service, Eufalia Negreata, reported that at 8:00, the 44 years old man, jaywalked the railway. Another man of 43 years old was hospitalized on Sunday with severe traumas after a construction device exploded in his hand. The ambulance doctors said that the explosion has caused associated traumas, injury of the right eye and of the left hand. Two drunken pedestrians were hit by cars on Sunday evening while crossing the street. The first accident happened at the crossing of the Miorita - Gheorghe Asachi streets, the second at the crossing Stefan cel Mare avenue - Mihai Viteazu street. Last 24 hours, the Emergency Service of the capital registered 800 calls.
