A Horse Race for the President’s Cup took place In Ceadar-Lunga
Vladimir Voronin inaugurated the horse race for the President’s Cup held at the horse farm in Ceadar-Lunga town, informs the Press Service of the President, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
At the inauguration ceremony, the head of state appreciated the efforts of the farm’s workers that managed to keep alive this unique enterprise and to continue developing the area of horse breeding in Moldova, inclusively of well-bred horse flesh.
„The state authorities undertook certain measures in order to restore the situation in the zootechnical sector. Already, the first encouraging results were attested and namely the increase of the live stock and also of the mentions obtained at different specialized contest”, mentioned Vladimir Voronin.
The president expressed his satisfaction regarding the fact that organizing horse races at the horse breeding farm became a good tradition. At the end of the race, Vladimir Voronin handed over the Cup and the prizes to the winners.
In UTA Gagauz-Yeri, Vladimir Voronin met with local authorities. The discussions referred to the development perspectives of the Comrat town and of the region on the whole. Also, the president participated at inaugurating Cars and tractors station of the „Agro-Cazaiac” cooperative in Cazaclia village, the sixth in the region and number 110 in the country.
