94 people are sheltered at the Center for Shelter and Orientation for homeless people in Haltei Street, Chisinau municipality. The center is open continuously. At night or during the day, people in need can find a roof over their heads here, IPN reports.

The center serves three meals a day. People who do not have suitable clothing or footwear can choose something from the available stock. They are also offered hygiene products.

Citizens are urged to direct people who are out on the streets in cold weather to the municipal center at 2 Haltei St. to avoid cases of hypothermia. In situations where there is a risk to a person's health, call the single emergency number 112.
