910 truckloads of waste have been collected to date during the ongoing spring cleanup in Chisinau. About 25 garbage trucks, 45 loading units and 380 workers have been involved in the effort each day, Public Amenities head Ion Burdiumov told the City Hall’s meeting on Monday.

“The spring cleanup campaign is being carried out throughout Chisinau. The current week is the last week of this effort. At the end of the week, we will present a report with all the actions that have been taken by all the City Hall subdivisions involved”, said Burdiumov.

The annual spring cleaning campaign started on March 7.
