Parents can now track their children's academic performance online as the electronic diary system is being used in 650 schools across the Republic of Moldova. In 10% of these institutions, the paper version of the diary has been entirely replaced. This announcement was made by Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, IPN reports.
According to the minister, 74,000 parents have access to the electronic diary, which facilitates more efficient communication between teachers, students, and parents.
“For the next year, we aim to focus on this process, better inform parents, and support everyone who wishes to use this informational system provided by the ministry”, stated Dan Perciun.
Thanks to this initiative, teaching and administrative staff can more easily manage attendance and academic results. Additionally, it has significantly reduced the workload and minimized errors associated with manual data entry.
The electronic diary is a web-based platform that does not require app installation or advanced digital skills and can be accessed at agenda.sime.md.
