A number of 64 persons are currently staying at the Center for Accommodation and Orientation of Homeless People, located on Haltei St in the capital city. The head of the General Medical and Social Assistance Division Vladimir Bolocan said that many people are not from Chisinau municipality, but from the regions of the Republic of Moldova.

Fifteen new people who came to the center were identified last week. Of the total number of beneficiaries, seven were socially reintegrated, with two of them being employed, Vladimir Bolocan said at the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services. Two people were reintegrated into the family they belong to, IPN reports.

In the social centers managed by the General Medical and Social Assistance Division, 219 people were assisted last week. 4,144 people received social services, and mobile teams and social workers made 2,557 intervention visits at at home.
