The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Moldova this March has registered 390 drugs with lower producer pieces. In national currency, the prices are by 3.8% lower compared with last March. The Agency’s press officer Tatiana Gasca has told IPN that most of the drugs are imported from the EU member states.
The preparations, registered with lower producer prices, include systemic antimitotic, antibacterial and antiasthma preparations, selective beta blocking agents, antipsychotics, analgesics, antibiotics, cardiac medications, etc.
In the same connection, the Agency issued authorizations for the import of 350 pharmaceutical products for a period of one year or within the time limits indicated in documents. The commission for the import of nonregistered pharmaceutical products issued authorizations for the import of 64 names of drugs.
The Drugs Commission of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency authorized 23 and reauthorized 56 drugs, which is by 34 preparations more than in March 2016.
