Thirty-five social dwellings will be constructed near Sangerei during a year. The project is supported financially by the Council of Europe Development Bank and the local public administration.
Contacted by IPN, the mayor of Sangerei town Vasile Doga said the social dwellings will be intended for socially deprived families and for young specialists. The recipients will be selected by a special commission, based on the applications submitted to the mayor’s office. It is projected that the five-story building will be ready next November.
According to Vasile Doga, the dwellings will be leased out to the beneficiaries at an accessible price. The rent will be calculated depending on the average income of the family. If an apartment is vacated, it will be leased out to the next person on the list.
The apartments will have the kitchen and bathroom outfitted. The walls will be plastered, while the floor laminated and covered with terracotta tiles. The building will be connected to the electricity, water and sewerage systems, Internet, cable TV and fixed-line telephone networks.
The total value of the project is 13 million lei. 65% of the sum represents the loan taken out from the Council of Europe Development Bank, which is repayable in 20 years, while the rest of the money is allocated by the public administration of Sangerei.
