75 local companies have received grants totaling 26.3 million lei from the Moldovan Government and the European Union through the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development. The total investment in the economy generated by these grants amounts to more than 51.3 million lei, IPN reports.
The grants are distributed through several programs managed by ODA. Through the Program for Digital Transformation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, 46 companies have received grants totaling 12.3 million lei for the acquisition and implementation of digital technologies.
Under the Female Entrepreneurship Support Program, 16 companies are receiving grants totaling 5.7 million lei for business development in sectors such as baking, bakery and pastry manufacturing, healthcare and education.
Through the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Energy Efficiency and Technologization Program, eight companies in various fields of activity are benefiting from grants totaling 5.8 million lei.
At the same time, five companies will develop their businesses through the Program for Attracting Remittances into the Economy "PARE 1+2". They will receive non-reimbursable financial support totaling 2.4 million lei.
During an event with the participation of the economic agents receiving the grants, Eugeniu Harabara, State Secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, said that Moldova needs as many courageous entrepreneurs as possible, who think in the long term and are motivated to actively contribute to change their community for the better, to change things for the better, thus strengthening the national economy.
Miroslav Bozic, Program Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, spoke about the importance of partnership with Moldovan authorities for the development of the economy. According to him, support for entrepreneurship and sustainable development of SMEs is a basic component of the EU partnership with the Republic of Moldova.
Vadim Codreanu, Director of ODA, emphasized the impact of this funding on the entrepreneurial environment. He encouraged entrepreneurs to apply to all active programs.
Since the beginning of 2025, ODA has registered 136 companies that have obtained grants totaling 69.3 million lei.
