235 economic agents from the transnistrian region are registered at the Chamber of State Registration (CIS) of Moldova. According to the situation on September 22, 2006, 125 of them are temporarily registered and 110 – permanently. At the same time 74 of those 235 economic agents registered during the period August 1 until the present moment. 2/3 of them are from the municipalities of Tiraspol and Bender. According to a press release of the Ministry of Reintegration, during February 13 – September 17, 2006, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry issued 2465 origin certificates of goods and export licenses, including 742 – preferential. 51 of those 235 economic agents solicited issuance of origin certificates. 2/3 of the total number of certificates issued by CCI belong to 4 economic agents - „Tirotex”, „Vestra”, „Молдавский Металлургический Завод”, „Тираспольский Электроаппаратный Завод”. Customs Service (SV) of the Republic of Moldova, which has the right to issue origin certificates for the EU member countries since July 1, 2006, issued until September 18, 247 A type origin certificates to 8 economic agents from the transnistrian region that are permanently registered at CIS for external commerce with EU member countries. 161 preferential certificates were issued to “Tirotex”, 20 – “Vestra” and 17 – “Intercentru-Lux”. The volume of goods exported and imported by the enterprises from the transnistrian region, verified and concluded by SV during March 1 – September 20 constituted MDL 2.87 mln. The most exported goods are the metal, clothes, alcoholic drinks, footwear, electric generators, canned food etc. For the import, economic agents declare usually only the goods used for processing. The information of the ministry shows that SV fully concludes the export of goods and at only 10% the imported inflow. This fact is partially confirmed by information of the Roadway Moldova from September 17, 2006, according to which during March 5 – September 17, 2006, through the Colbasna-Tamcova customs points were illegally introduced 6163 wagons with goods, and through Novosavitkoe-Cuciurgan – 2042 wagons. The compensation of the sums paid by economic agents from the transnistrian region is performed without delays and according to the solicited sums. During April 1- September 21, 2006, 11 permanently registered economic agents and 8 temporarily registered economic agents requested returning of money. On the whole, MDL 11.1 mln were given back.
