Professional and amateur runners, as well as athletes with special needs, are invited to participate for free in the 2024 Euro Marathon. The event will be held on September 8 to unite all ages and nationalities, building a prosperous European society. The race will start in the Great National Assembly Square and will finish also there.

Each participant will choose the distance to cover, with the largest distance being 10 km. A special race will be organized for children, a special and fun one. Registration is free, and each registered participant will receive a T-shirt with the 2024 Euro Marathon symbols and an honorary medal at the finish, organizers said.

In central Chisinau, a sports town will be set up with stands promoting the culture and values ​​of the European Union. A program full of activities, music, dances, contests and entertainment awaits participants and spectators.

Euro Marathon 2024 is held with the support of the Moldovan Government, the Ministry of Education and Research. The partners of the event are Europe Café, USAID, UNICEF, UNFPA, UN Women and Soros Moldova Foundation.
