The 200 kilograms of heroine seized in Moldova's biggest drug bust in April 2008 are currently kept at the Security and Information Service and will be destroyed once a definitive court decision is pronounced on the case, Interior Minister Victor Catan told reporters today. “Considering that the 200 kilograms of heroine represent evidence in the case, it will be destroyed only with the finalization of the court trials”, explained Victor Catan. Asked about the destruction procedure, the minister said the heroine would be burned and media representatives would be allowed to observe.
