Video cameras detected more than 1500 traffic violations related to not wearing seatbelts and using cell phones while driving. The cases were documented in just one week since the traffic monitoring system was adjusted, IPN reports.

Police recall that the aim of the system is not to penalize drivers, but to increase road safety and discipline and prevent traffic tragedies.

In this regard, the police advise drivers to always wear seatbelts, avoid using cell phones while driving, and strictly obey traffic rules for their own safety and that of other road users.
