Fifteen political parties were registered as participants in the national constitutional referendum of October 20. The Central Election Commission on Tuesday registered the People’s Will Party as a referendum campaigner. Out of the 15 parties, only two will campaign with the option “NO”, IPN reports.
The 15 registered parties are:
Party of Communists, with the option “NO”;
Green Ecologist Party, with the option “YES”;
Respect Moldova Movement, with the option “YES”;
Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, with the option “YES”;
“Renaissance” Party, with the option “NO”;
Coalition for Unity and Wellbeing, with the option “YES”;
“Together” Electoral Bloc, with the option “YES”;
Party of Action and Solidarity, with the option “YES”;
National Alternative Movement, with the option “YES”;
“Democracy at Home” Party, with the option “YES”;
Alliance for the Union of Romanians, with the option “YES”;
Political Party “Noi”, with the option “YES”;
Party of National Reunification “Home”, with the option “YES”;
European Social Democratic Party, with the option “YES”;
People’s Will Party, with the option “YES”.
The subjects that were not registered as participants in the referendum cannot carry out electoral agitation activities in order to support the referendum or promote the boycott.
The constitutional referendum on joining the EU will be held on October 20, simultaneously with the presidential election. Voters will answer “YES” or “NO” the question: “Are you for amending the Constitution so as to stipulate the accession to the European Union in it?”.
