About 120 chickens died in a fire at a farm in Coropceni village of Telenești district. The flames destroyed 120 square meters of the farm’s roof, IPN reports.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the call to the 112 service was made at about 11am on March 31. Two firefighting teams travelled to the scene. About 10,000 chickens and 14 pigs in a shed situated nearby were saved.

No person was hurt in the fire.
