12 Moldovan girls employed by Ukrainian to provide online sex services

A woman aged 29 from Ukraine is suspected of creating a procuring network that involved 12 Moldovan girls, including a minor. The girls provided online sex services through specialized websites. The culprit faces 15 to 20 years behind bars for trafficking in children, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the girls were enticed by job announcements placed on national publicity websites, saying “employment of video-chat models, salary of €1,000”. The employer invited the girls to interviews in her apartment in Chisinau, which was outfitted like a studio. The money earned from the provided services was transferred to the suspect by the administrators of the specialized websites. The woman took 70% of the earnings, while the girls received by US$400-500.

Officers of the National Investigations Inspectorate carried out searches in the studio and seized computers outfitted with special equipment for online broadcasting, drafts about the incomes and salaries of the girls, bank cards and identification papers.
