Local public administrative offices will receive from the Government 100 million MDL for renovation of local streets and roads. The resolution regarding the allocation of finances has been inaugurated together with its publication in the “Official Monitor”. According to the resolution, 70 mln MDL will be allocated to the municipality of Chisinau for the renovation of the streets Serghei Lazo, Vasile Alecsandri, Mihai Eminescu, Mihail Kogalniceanu, Gheorghe Asachi and Alexei Mateevici, and 6 mln for the municipality of Balti. The rest of the funds are distributed to the preturs, which, together with the mayoralty of Balti and coordinated with the Ministry of Transport and Road Maintenance, will present to the Ministry of Finances the list of the objects liable to renovations. Interviewed by Info-Prim Neo, Tatiana Cunetchi, the chief of the department of Finances in the Municipal Council of Chisinau (CMC), has clarified that the 70 mln MDL haven’t been transferred yet to the Chisinau municipality. According the source, the renovation works of the 6 streets have started already with the funds taken from the municipal budget. The president of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, has promised to the Chisinau municipality that the state budget will provide 70 mln MDL for the renovation of the streets.
