In the period from January 19 to 28, 10 local food and wine enterprises – “Franzeluta” JSC, “Carmez” JSC, “Alfa-Nistru” JSC, “Prometeu-T” JSC, “Maestro-nut” Ltd, “Lion-Gri” Ltd, CVC “Milestii Mici”, “Aroma” JSC, “VS-Export” Ltd and “Enteh” JSC – are participating in the international exhibition “Grune Woche” in Berlin, Germany. Moldova’s stand at the Exhibition Centre Messe-Berlin will exhibit meat and baked goods, nut kernel and wine products. “Grune Woche” International Exhibition is the greatest forum in Europe dedicated to food, agricultural, and horticultural industries. In 2006, about 1,639 exhibits from 53 countries of the world have been presented on a surface of 115,000 sq m. The exhibition has been visited by 410,000 people. Moldova partakes in this exhibition for the first time with a national stand. The aim of participating in the exhibition with a national stand is to expand Moldova’s economical and trade relations with other countries; promote local food and agriculture products on the international market; participate in the “East-West” Agricultural Forum. The agenda of the “Grune Woche” International Exhibition includes numerous practical events which would allow the establishment of contacts between the interested parties. The main event of the exhibition is the 14th “East West” Agricultural Forum within the frameworks of which the Moldovan-German forum entitled “Expectations of the development of agriculture and food industry enterprises in Moldova” will take place. The organisers of the Moldovan stand are the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, Moldova’s Embassy in Germany, Moldovan-German Business Partnership, Moldova’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mepo/Mida project.
