Zimbru Chisinau demolished Zaria Bălți 7-1 in the second leg of the quarterfinals of Moldova’s Football Cup. The first leg was lost by Zimbru 2-3, IPN reports.

Teixeira and Scoarță scored for two times, while Țîgîrlaș, Obekop, Semedo and, respectively, Lima by one goal. In the 20th minute, when the score was 0-0, Zaria remained with ten players on the field after Santos was sent off.

In the semifinals, Zimbru will play against Sfântul Gheorghe, which eliminated Dinamo-Auto. Sfântul Gheorghe lost to Suruceni 1-2 after winning the first match 3-0.

Sheriff beat again Speranța 3-0. The goals were scored by Balima, Kulusic and Kovachevic in the second half. In the semifinals, Sheriff will meet the winner of the encounter between Milsami and  Petrocub.
