After Costuleni and Veris, Zimbru Chisinau are also planning to drop out of Moldova's top soccer league over refereeing decisions. The club's leadership told IPN they formulated their letter to the Moldovan Football Federation but haven't sent it yet.
Last night, after losing to Dacia 0-1, Zimbru manager Igor Oprea said his side was disadvantaged by the referees. “Two penalties were awarded: one was arguable and the other one, which translated into the game's only goal, was simply made up”, said Igor Oprea.
If Zimbru leave, the club owned by Nicolae Ciornyi will be able to return to Divizia Nationala only after 5 seasons.
