Zimbru and Milsami have qualified for the final of Moldova’s Football Cup 2018, IPN reports.

In Hancesti, Milsami beat Petrocub 2-1 in overtime. Igor Bugaiov opened the score in the 13th minute, but the hosts benefitted from a penalty kick six minutes later. This was transformed into a goal by Vladimir Ambros. The victory goal was scored by Maxim Antoniuc in the 120th minute. “The match showed that there are no easy games in the Cup,” Milsami coach Veaceslav Rusnac told a news conference.

The second finalist was decided by penalty shootout. In the match against Dinamo-Auto, Zimbru won by 5-4 following the penalty shootout and will play the final at home on May 23.
