Zaria beat Speranta 2-1 in the eighth stage of the National Football Division. This is the first victory won by the team from Balti the current season, IPN reports.

Rusu and Apostol scored for the hosts, with Iurcu setting the scoreline in the 89th minute, after transforming a penalty. As a result of this victory, Zaria, which was last in the rankings, has the same number of points as Sfantul Gheorghe.

In Hancesti, Petrocub won the first victory in its history against Sheriff. The only goal was scored by  Vladislav Ivanov in the 53rd minute. Sheriff was close to tying through Kamara and Cristiano, but these missed the target.

Petrocub is now three points behind Milsami, which drew 0-0 with Zimbru. Ilie Damascan could bring the victory to the hosts, but missed a penalty. Finally, Dinamo-Auto and Sfantul Gheorghe drew 0-0.
