Hammer thrower Zalina Petrivskaya is the third Moldovan athlete who obtained qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games, IPN reports.
The 31-year-old athlete ranked first at the international competition in Kiev with the result of 72.84 meters and secured thus a place in the Olympic squad of Moldova. Zalina Petrivskaya will compete at the Olympic Games for the fourth time.
Athletes Lilia Fisikovici and Dimitriana Surdu qualified for the 2020 Summer Olympics earlier.
