Youth Social reintegration Center opens in Soroca
UNDP Moldova with the financial support of the US Government will open on Wednesday, July 5, the Youth Social reintegration Center in Soroca.
According to UNDP Moldova, the Youth Social reintegration Center of Soroca will prepare the school leavers of the boarding schools for an independent life. These youngsters will benefit of assistance, psychological counseling, life skills development, professional orientation and support while getting employed.
The Social Reintegration Center of Soroca is the third of those ten Centers of this kind following to be launched by the project "Better opportunities for youth and women". The first two have their headquarters in Ungheni town and the village Carpineni (Hancesti).
Besides the Youth Social reintegration Center the project stipulates as well the opening of some maternal centers, providing assistance to mothers with children and pregnant women at risk. They will benefit from accommodation and medical care, and later – vocational trainings and training programs helping them to find a job.
The representatives of the Government, US Embassy to Moldova, as well as those of the international organizations accredited in Moldova and civil societies will take part in the opening.
