Youth participate, society develops

Familiarizing Moldovan youths with the politics, economy and culture of the states having embassies to Chisinau, and stimulating their interest for exact sciences has been the goal of organizing the second edition of the cultural-scientific exhibition “Youth participate, society develops”, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the opening ceremony of the exhibition on Friday, April 4, the deputy minister of Education and Youth – one of the organizers --, Valentin Crudu, said this was one of the multiple events organized on the occasion of the Youth Year, and of Europe’s Day. On this occasion, they presented the cultures of 17 countries with diplomatic missions to Moldova. In the opinion of the director of the theoretic lycee “Orizont”, Turgay Serik, this year, the exposition focuses more on culture, on combining culture with science. He hopes to realize a closer friendship between Moldova and Turkey. The ceremony has been attended by the ambassadors of Romania, the Czech Republic, China, Ukraine, the Turkish consul, representatives of the embassies of Bulgaria, Russia and Belarus. The exhibition is displayed in the Opera and Ballet Theater.
