A 21-year-old woman suffered a closed cranial-cerebral trauma and contusion of the soft tissues when she was hit by a freight minibus in a crosswalk in Chisinau on Friday. Aurelia Mija, PR inspector of the Traffic Police, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened on Bogdan Voievod St at about 12 noon. According to the police, the young woman was crossing the street legally. The accident happened because of the driver’s inattentiveness. Fortunately, the minibus was traveling at low speed and a lethal denouement was avoided.
