A woman aged 26 from Suruceni village of Ialoveni district found her two-month old baby girl dead when she wanted to wake her up to breastfeed him.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Ialoveni Police Inspectorate Mariana Didenco said the police were called at about 4am. A police team travelled to the house together with a medical examiner who stated the death of the baby.
The exact cause of death is yet to be found out. A criminal case was started to determine all the circumstances.
