Young woman badly hurt by horse hoof
A young woman was severely injured by a horse that struck her with its hoof. The incident happened on Wednesday, May 29, at noon, at the Riding School situated on the Hipodrmului Street in the capital.
According to the doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service, Anatol Proca, the horse hit the girl, 18, directly in her face. The victim was hospitalised with mental shock, fracture of the jaw bone and of other facial bones.
Another youngster, aged 19, was hospitalised after he jumped from an 8 meters height in the Nistru River. As a result, the young man got a mental shock and an internal thoracic trauma. This is the second similar case in May. On May 20, another young man, suffered from a fractured spinal bone after he made an unsuccessful dive in the water of a lake from the capital, during which he hit himself with an object in the water.
At 2.00, near a bar situated on the Decebal bd. was found a young, approximately 20-year-old unidentified woman in alcoholic coma.
The doctors have registered another case of sunstroke. Their help was requested by a 49-year-old saleswoman.
Over the past 24 hours, the Chisinau Emergency Service was requested in 708 cases, including 83 traumas, 40 cases of acute virosis and 6 strokes.
