Young professionals in public service can apply for master’s degree scholarships
The young professionals working in the public service can apply for the program of scholarships for a master’s degree intended for public servants in order to facilitate the process of deepening their knowledge, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communiqué from the Government of Moldova, the program is open to young professionals in the public service, persons working in offices of government officials and in the local public administration, and persons holding public posts.
The young professionals can apply to such areas as: educational policies, European studies and law, social policy, environment management/policy, studies on peace and conflict resolution, agricultural and transport policy, agricultural management/policy, public management/administration, economy/economic development, public health, public policy, and European public affairs.
The scholarships are provided within the professional training and development program for public servants in Moldova.
There will be provided scholarships to study at universities that signed partnership agreements with the Regional Fellowship Program, the Open Society Foundations, to study social sciences at the University of Cambridge, University of Warwick, University of Maastricht, the selected universities in Germany and the partner universities in the U.S. and Canada.
For the second type of scholarships, the young professionals working in the public service will submit individual applications to study at universities in the EU member states, except for Romania, the U.S., Canada, Norway and Switzerland.
The program is implemented by the Government of Moldova and the Educational Advising Center with the financial support of the Emergency Fund and the Regional Fellowship Program, the Open Society Foundations.
