Young persons from flood-stricken villages will benefit from awards and free places at dormitories
The young people from the villages affected by floods will be provided with student awards and will be accommodated at university dormitories free of charge this year. The Government made a decision to this effect at today's meeting that was held at the secondary school in Nemteni village of Hancesti district, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a press briefing after the meeting, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said 200 persons from the flood-hit villages, aged between 16 and 26, will go to rest in Romania in August. The Ministry of Education is to select the beneficiaries.
